Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) Should Know Better!

On the CBS show “CSI NY,” Gary Sinise plays Mac Taylor, a policeman whose girlfriend, Christina, has a restaurant. As a restaurant owner, Christina attends conferences along with others like herself. The attendees are called “restaurateurs” (without the letter “n”). Taylor (Sinise) should have known better when he mispronounced the term last light on the CSI crossover episode with D. D. Russell (played by Ted Danson).

Those who misspell or mispronounce the word are confusing it with “restaurant.”
