Home-Made TV and Radio Commercials

When owners of small businesses create their own commercials, frequently they make mistakes in grammar and pronunciation. At least when professionals do it, they make better mistakes.

A common one is the mispronunciation of “accessories” in jewelry and clothing ads.

Quite often the word is pronounced “assessories.” I guess that such items would be used for assessing stuff.
