As a graphic designer who uses Windows software on a PC, I purchased Quicktime Pro for Windows. Then the support nightmare began. It took me over an hour and a half on the phone to get my problem addressed. It began with initial phone prompts that required me to select which Apple product I was calling about.
Since I do not own an Apple product, I could not get past this point without using some of the tricks I learned to use in such cases. When I finally got through to a real person, it took transfers to six other people to get only a partial resolution.
