Recently, I had two experiences with computer fixes that went wrong.
One is that I took my Ford Escape to the dealer for a recall. The power steering module had to be reprogrammed.
Unfortunately, the upgrade caused my digital clock and other display items to malfunction. I did not realize this until I got home, so I had to make a second trip to the dealer to fix that. That “fix” also went wrong because my display of the outside temperature disappeared. It is supposed to be next to the time (top center).
The other problem was with iTunes on my home computer.
It seems that when version 12.0 of iTunes came out, it changed the bit rate on the sound card of Windows® computers. Future updates did not fix the problem. The only way to fix the problem was to uninstall the software and reinstall it.
