It’s Still Illiteracy

I was watching a crime show on TV the other night. In the act of a burglary, the perpetrators lowered themselves down the side of the building using a rope.

The question is who was ignorant in this case, the actor, the script writer, the director, or all of them.? The burglar was described by one of the actors as “repelling” (wrong) down the side of the building.

Actually, the correct term for this is “rappelling.”

    If it was the same show I saw, the correct term was “repelling” because that is how the show left me
