Redundancy 2.0

My son, Alan, reminded me today about a redundant expression that bothered him. The expression is “honest truth,” as if there were such a thing as “dishonest truth” or “honest falsehood.”

absolutely essential

end result
final outcome
future plans
postpone until later
present incumbent
surrounded on all sides
visible to the eye
wall mural
