Cheapskate Concessionaire

The other day, my 16-year-old granddaughter was at Rye Playland amusement park, located in Westchester, NY. Since she is a loyal follower of my blog, she related this tale to me so that I may publish it.

Here it is!

While buying some Carvel ice cream, she noticed that someone had purchased a cone with sprinkles. The usual way this is prepared at Carvel stores is for the cone to be totally immersed in sprinkles, as can be seen here.

Instead, however, the vendor placed a bare spoonful of sprinkles on the cone.
