A company logo is a valuable piece of property that provides instant brand recognition. Companies use it on their business cards, stationery, advertising, product labels, and more, as an effective means of promoting their products and services.
Yet many small companies do not regard it as a valuable piece of property. In my work as a graphic designer I have found that a lot of companies do not have a clue about the whereabouts of the original art work.
On more occasions than I can count, I have had to graphically remaster company logos from poor copies from previously printed material.
Should you need to have your logo digitally remastered, modernized, or just cleaned up, please write to me at email@example.com. I have the skills, tools, and experience to meet your needs at a reasonable price.
The original art gets “lost” for several reasons:
1. the original art is misplaced or destroyed
2. the designer is no longer in business
3. the printer is no longer in business
4. there no digital files (only paper copies)
It is extremely important for companies to guard their logo art just as they would any other key asset.
